After eighteen consecutive crazy years, Nendaz Freeride is pleased to welcome once again the freeriders in need of thrills and sensations for its 19th edition.
This year, the event makes its comeback among the FWT Challengers events, which enable the best athletes on the Qualifier tour to qualify directly for the Freeride World Tour.
The Nendaz Freeride FWT Challenger will takes place on Saturday 1st of March 2025 but could be postponed to Sunday, Monday or Tuesday in case of bad weather conditions.
The event will be held on one day only on the mythical venue of Mont-Gond.
The top 65 athletes among which some of the athletes of the Nendaz Freeride FWT Qualifier 3* will be invited to participate in this event.
Here is the picture of the potential face. The final choice will be communicated during the briefing, depending on the snow quality, the safety and the weather conditions.
This face can be observed with binoculars from the bottom of the mountain but it is strickly prohibited to get there before the competition as this would be a ground for elimination. Local riders have also been made aware not to ride those slopes during the week preceding the competition.
