This 1 star event of the Freeride World Qualifier is open to all athletes. First registered, first served, no need for FWQ points.

Athletes can choose between 9 days from 9am to 1pm to complete their run at the start of the Plan du Fou. A cameraman is located at the bottom of the face to film and edit the runs. Athletes may complete a maximum of 3 runs (if conditions are ok and one different days) but submit only one run to the judgement.



Steps :

1. Day -2 : Announce your arrival in Nendaz to make your run 2 days later (contact : Cindy, athletes manager 079 440 56 53)
2. Day -1 : Wait for the Go/ No go from the organizers according to safety conditions (confirmation sent by Whatsapp)
3. D-Day : Pick up your skipass at the NVRM cash desk in Nendaz / Tracouet (one day only skipass included) and sign the liability release
4. Find the cameraman (Pascal: +41 79 254 60 11) at the bottom of the north face of Plan du Fou, get a radio. A security check will be done by Pascal (DVA + mandatory security material received by email) and your ID will be checked through the SocialPass app that you need to download here.
5. Go to the top of Plan du Fou and 30 seconds before your start, contact Pascal by radio
6. At the end of your run, give Pascal your bib back and give him the GoPro runs if desired (for the highlight video of the event).

Important information: due to the sanitary situation, we ask you to respect all the instructions given by the NVRM lifts such as :

• Wear the mask in the installations and during your meeting with the cameraman
• Keep your distance and limit contact with potential other athletes
• Wash your hands regularly
• In case of symptoms, get tested, stay at home and do not participate in the event (your registration will be refunded)

The jury will meet after the event to define the rankings and a public vote will be organized on our Instagram page.

Due to the conditions, the total prize money to win is EUR 1'000.-

The 4 best athletes (ski, snow, men, women) will receive a wildcard to participate in the Nendaz Freeride 2* FWQ (they still need to pay their registration).
